Manaaki Tāngata | Victim Support is so grateful to Four Winds Foundation for investing in our mahi throughout 2024. 

Their much-needed funding of our front-line staff salaries has enabled us to deliver our free 24/7 services to nearly 10,000 people affected by crime, suicide, family harm, and other traumatic events throughout the Tauranga, Wellington, and Whangārei regions.

Crime and traumatic events can affect anyone and have long-lasting emotional, physical, social, and financial impacts. Victims often find whānau and friends don’t know how to support them, and society may blame them rather than accept that bad things can happen to good people.

With the financial support we received we were able to help victims in many ways including feeling listened to, less stressed, informed, empowered, and staying engaged with the justice system.
